My mom caught me and my best friend smoking on our balcony the other day. I've been feeling (more) like shit ever since. She wasn't angry or anything, she's not like that. She just said things like "Sure, alot of people smoke at parties and stuff, who doesnt. But I really don't think you should start smoking on a regular basis since it can become ugly in many ways in the future." Stuff like that... She used to smoke herself but managed to quit about 3 years ago, that's part of why I feel super guilty.
It would have been much easier if she had yelled and screamed and given me a huge lecture about it. That would have been alot easier for me to deal with, instead of just a small comment, not even meant to give me a guilty concience but still got to me big time.
So, after this festival here in the begining of july, on which everyone party their bum off, I will quit smoking 100%.

Thats the reason why your mum didn't shout at you. Because she knew it would have no effect, but what she has done will and has.

Keep at it. Smoking ruins your life in so many ways...

I always fall for older guys. The lads my age don't really do it. I feel sometimes I should be older. I want someone I can have a really deep meaningful convasation with. But all the guys I fall for would never look at me twice.

Lets start a list.... David Tennant, John Barrowman, my teacher , Billy Boyd, Sean Astin, Josh Groban, John Simm.......

I feel the same way about guys. Especially foreign guys. I fell hard for an exchange student, but he was Muslim. The only person same age as me I have ever had a crush on.

My confession: I'm taking up belly dance! I feel a little emabrassed because I will be made fun of at school if a certain person finds out. Also, it often times has a bad connotation associated with it. But my mom and I are taking it up together, and we are getting some friends involved too. I will also have the option to oerform at my school's international talent show, but I don't know if I'll be brave enough to.

Thanks I'm gonna get my absolutely last ones today. Then it's finito. Never again. I swear on my grandmothers grave.

Oh! And epitomeofinnocence, belly dancing sounds so much fun! Great that you're picking it up

Omg Rach, I TOTALLY feel the same way you do
For me, guys my age just don't cut it and sometimes I really feel like I SHOULD be older, but aaaahhh well. And what you said about wanting to have a deep meaningful conversation with a guy is sooo true for me too! Nowadays the guys I know just seem to get more and more shallow And it really kinda sucks, coz I have a lot I would love to talk about, and you've obviously got friends to talk about it with...but a clever kinda guy is just what I feel like I need...!

my ex called and sang happy b-day to my answering machine, my bro also made his annual call to my answering machine. Can't say I care much in either case.

The other day I talked to my uncle (dad's brother) and he said something bad about my dad (which, incidentally was actually true) and I wanted to defend him. But I didn't... I don't really have a reason to anymore. I've given up trying to justify him.

I'm incapable of believing in my own ability. I refuse to believe I can be special and unique.

I feel like that sometimes too... but if it's any comfort at all, I think you're awesomely special and unique.
