Same here. It brings too much memories from last year.
I don't want to go through it again...

the weekend weather sucks here lately and I am looking at cloudy, rainy, cool weather all day. I'd rather ride my bike and think of Jake riding his too and then I would feel like I am getting in better shape.

I have been feeling depressed over the past couple of weeks, since my son moved out into a house of his own, I really miss him, but he has started coming round every day for lunch, he works quite near, and I don't feel so bad now. They call it empty nest syndrome, I knew it had to happen one day, and now it has, I'll get over it. Rich, I noticed your 1000'th post, congratulations, your a Gyllenhaalic

Yeah, I get depressed. Having hormones doesn't help either.

Usually, it's over silly things that I can't do anything about, but worry anyway

i get depressed a lot.
some things, that mean "nothing" i really take to heart. and it sucks.
and the little things that people do/say have a big effect on me.
or when everything just gets too much.
do you ever just want to ... scream the goddamn place down?

Holly, I was just thinking exactly that when I came to this thread. Some little things just bother me and I know they shouldn't. I keep wondering what some friends think about some stupid little thing I said or did and whether they are upset about it and it all seems so trivial but I can't help it. I dwell on it anyway. And that's depressing too. Time to shake it off, if I can.

I'm feeling depressed and alone. Very alone. None of my friends seem to have a bit of interest in me... they never call or email me and if I message or comment them on myspace they never reply. Even my online friends are starting to be that way. It's really depressing because I don't know if they're all just too busy or am I pushing them away and not even realizing it. And being here at home doesn't stop the alone feeling... my mom is an expert at saying the exactly wrongest thing at the exactly wrongest time. My whole family just has a knack of making me feel useless and unwanted. And now lately so do my friends.

Yeah, I'd say depressed is the appropriate word...

I know what you mean, feel the same and I think I do know why. I guess it's time to put a particular chapter (nice but short) behind me and move on.

awww, I'm really sorry for you. Shouldn't you try to call some of your friends - your best friends- and share your feelings? If they're true to you, they'll listen, and it will get better soon. Or maybe that they're not feeling well too? Or they're preoccupied about something, but you don't know it? There are many possibilities that can explain why they don't pay much attention to you. And there are many chances that you're NOT the problem of their ''looks-like-not-caring-attitude''. And for your mom, she's what she is. She has been living that way all her life, so it'll be difficult to change her. You can maybe talk to her, aswell? She might... change a bit, and not make you feel unseless and unwanted. She's you're mom, so she still loves you, even if she's ''gaffeuse''. =)Anyway, I'm sorry I can't really help you..I'm bad en english, so I'm very careful with what I'm writing. I don't want to look like I'm saying stupid things... WEll well, I really hope you'll go better soon! =) Don't forget that the communication is the key of good relationships. (in french: La communication est la clef d'une belle relation'' )

Thanks. And by the way, your English is good... I understand everything you wrote!

My problem is that my closest friends all seem to be busy all the time. My best friend I haven't spoken to in quite some time now because she's too busy in her own life to call anyone and I don't have the number where she's staying now. And another of my close friends used to be great to talk to and he always wanted to help, but he's only interested in his friends when he doesn't have a girlfriend. And he has a girlfriend right now, so if talked to him it would be in one ear and out the other. And I can't really talk to most of my friends... I don't really know why but I don't feel comfortable talking about serious things with them. And my mother is... well, I've given up hope of her ever being any different.

TODAY I'm feeling a bit better and that's good. Somedays I feel better about things and those are nice days.

I feel like shit today...I really feel worthless and inadequate. I feel really ugly and disgusting and I dont think I deserve anything that I have...my friends, my room, anything. Someone so pathetic and repulsive like me isn't worth that time....I really cant stand the days when I feel like this, which is most of the time.
