I'm a little depressed.

Okay, I'm kind of very depressed.

First of all, I hate it that my parents are divorcing. Sure I can handle it; I'm 20, I can be reasonable about it. And when most of the time I'm okay about it, but sometimes I just wonder why things couldn't stay the way they were.

Secondly, I feel stupid. Two months ago or so I met a guy on a film set in Belgium... it was good, you know? He was so nice, gave me so many compliments, told me he really really liked me - he was so honest. I loved it. But then eventually ofcourse I had to leave Belgium to go back to college and eventually the filming was done and now he's back working all over the place and he lives in London so there's no chance anyway. But the worst thing is he promised to keep in touch and he never did. I texted him unanswered three times until I realized that he'd probably just been using me... luckily I'm not easy and he never got what he was probably after: sex.

But I miss him, and I miss my time there on the set. It was like a fairytale, and now suddenly BAM and as if that wasn't hurtful enough, five days after I came back my parents announced their divorce. I've been okay, but depressed too.

I used to be able to laugh at myself, and I can't anymore and I hate that.

I'm just a real bad person. I keep being a real jerk and i do really evil stuff.I dont know why i keep on doing this? Sometimes i get worried, i really should do something about it. But thats when i realize i just dont CARE enough, which makes me even WORSE.

If could try to be better but than it'll just be all pretending.
I just wish i could be NICE...!!

Is anyone familiar with psychosis? I've got two very shocking attacks in the last two week which affected my eating disorder. Well... I suddenly had the feeling that I couldn't swallow normally and started to breathe abnormally. Then pulse was driving me insane and I was close to vomitting.

The scary thing about this is, that it has an aftereffect. Everytime I lead food to my mouth, my body immediately rejects it. My last attack was yesterday, and I couldn't eat ANYTHING the whole day (even if I wanted to!). I'm so worried! I have the feeling my body controls my psyche or something. It's awful! And I seriously don't want to starve! So what to do?

^ Have you tried visiting your doctor or who you usually see when you've got health problems? I know so little of psychosis it's ridiculous, so I can't really help, but I hope it gets better soon.

Answering the topic's question about me today... no, but off somehow. Irked. Fed up. I have a feeling that I know what's caused it, so I suppose that's a good thing.

I was reading a fanfiction earlier. I won't post it but it was about a a pair of twins who were living in a broken home, where their father was constantly beating on them. One of the twins was trying to get out in any way he could, by self harming and trying to kill himself. At the end of the story, he had succeeded, and because of that, the other twin killed himself too. It just triggered off for me because I used to self harm (not with suicidal intent, I might add), and stopped a few months ago. I didn't know the story was going to be like that, but once I started reading, I couldn't stop. I was in tears by the end. So yeah... not a good effect on me really. It's making me want to self harm again even though I have no reason to, and I can't shake the feeling off. It's driving me mad! Deep down, I really don't want to self harm again, but at the same time, I do. Grrrrrrrrrr.

It's already better.

I've come away from self harming last summer. It was probably just my luck, but I immediately realised what I've done after having horrible scars on my arms. That made me freaking out and I swore I won't do it again - ever. And it helped. Now I'm slamminng doors, or I just go shopping or running. Depends... but it works.

I'm depressed because...damnit, I can't take any more of my favorite movie characters dying!!! I'm JUST FINALLY starting to begin to get over Jack Twist, and then my friends convinced me to watch Titanic. JACKKKKKKK!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!

My fragile teenage heart can't handle all this heartbreak

Suhayl better not die before he finds out what my name is...next year Priority # 1: Make sure Suhayl Chettih knows of your existince, your name, and at least one important thing about you.

WHAAAAAAA!!!! </3 I miss them SO FUCKING MUCH!!!!

It sucks that I can feel so...connected to fictional characters.....they're so...REAL....I dunno, maybe it's just cuz I'm an actor myself that I can appreciate a really good actor.

My cat got a pass away injection. Last night he had a blood clot that paralyzed him almost completely. He's been at the vet and he got the injection today cause they couldn't do anything for him anymore. I'm really sad about it, he's 'been there' for me the last 2 years when I was going through a rough time And now he's gone

Aw, Jacky, I'm really sorry.
My cat died at the vet's too.
It's really hard to lose a pet.
You did the best for him that you could, though.

We're here for ya, too, okay?

I felt very depressed last week, when I got back home from a lovely day out in London with my sister. My husband had been drinking (nothing unusual there!!) and started rambling the moment I got in. I realised straight away and gave him short shrift!!! Like I normally do.
Then I spoke to my son, Michael, who has OCD and is diabetic. He said that 'Dad' had been into his room, and was trying to close his window, the effect of this on Michael (who can't stand to be in the same room as him because of his drinking) was that he felt he had to strip off his bed and put all the bedding in the wash, and then he put all his clothes (even the clean ones, not even worn yet) into the wash as well. He said he felt so stressed out all day (probably because I wasn't there to diffuse the situation) that he hadn't done an injection, and he didn't care if he went into a coma. This is what really upset me, because he has had a couple of really nasty incidents when he's had to be hospitalised. He once went into a coma, was rushed into hospital and couldn't speak for three days. I was frightened to death that he was brain damaged.
So him talking about not caring whether he went into a coma, was what put me in a depression that I couldn't seem to pull myself out of. We have talked about it since and he has apologised for upsetting me. I know it wasn't his fault, but he hates to see me upset as I do him, we have a very close relationship. I would like him to see our family doctor, but he has an abhorrance of going on any more medication, and he just won't go. I can't force him to go because he's 27 years old.
Everything seems to be more or less back to normal now (as normal as it can be with a piss artist in the house). But the next time I go out anywhere, I'm going to be worrying, so I'll probably be on the phone checking up on him throughout the day.
To cheer him up, he said he would like to go and see Zodiac, so I've volunteered to go with him.

Dottie, Sorry to read about your trouble. You can see where the OCD really kicked in if everything had to be washed right away. Sounds rather stressful. Hopefully the doctor could offer advice or even medication. I know we all hate to take medicine regularly but sometimes you have to do it. Of course you can't watch the boys at home all the time.
Anyway, I hope Zodiac cheers you up (not a cheery movie tho). Jake is great, of course, and always good to look at. The film certainly picks up the pace as Jake's character gets more involved in the case, can't really say more til you see it. It should be something to get your mind off other things for 2 hrs, 40 min.
