so i am kinda disappointed that some of my posts (public and private) have gotten no responses, as in the number zero. I understand the public ones cuz not everybody reads everything as there is so much here. The pms however are a mystery. I guess we all feel we can post a lot of personal stuff here cuz it is mostly to people we will never meet and don't know us. On the other hand, I guess I thought i did make some real friends here but maybe not, perhaps only one or two, perhaps not. Now i am not sure why i post in some of these threads, maybe just to spill it and not carry it around. The pms i send for a reason, either silly things like pm challenge and i always got a response to those, or to friends and i have not gotten a response lately to most of those. kinda sad. For a couple of u, I'll just wait, but for one or two others...

Although I've got only a few moments to spare (I have to go in about 15 min. and I'm not even ready), I came in here to check what's new and then I saw your post.
Auw Rich, you've got it all wrong.... you have real friends at IHJ but they don't always have the time to reply your messages. Some might not know what to write to you, mainly because they don't want to make it worse.
Did you sent me a PM recently? I don't think so... cause I received nothing from you... otherwise I would have answered. If you feel down.... feel free to send me one. That goes for every single one of you, I'm here to listen.

There are other people who wrote some sad stuff in this thread, and I didn't answers them either. My thoughts are with them too, just like they are with you.

Hope you feel better now Rich, don't let sad feelings ruin your live eh.

Have to run now.....
Hugs, Gyllenmom

Rich, I know how you feel. I used to be here a lot a while back, but after my myspace got deleted () and I've been so busy I haven't been able to keep in touch with some of the friends I've made here and now I'm back (heh, at least for the summer!) and I've got a lot of catching up to do, so I'm feeling a lil alienated myself.

I'm back, but only for a short while.

Welcome back, Nemi from Sweden. Hope you stay with us, even after the summer. If you like, love or adore Jakey... you will. Heehee!

I was depressed a little while ago about the dumbest thing. About 2 weeks ago, I went to Niagra Falls with my family. We went to this store in a town nearby and I bought the most BEAUTIFUL ring! It's really cool too cuz it was made from recycled aluminum by this designer named Christophe Poly.

So this morning, I go to put it on and the gem on it was missing . I swear, I practically cried. I have no idea where it could be! I remember it was still attached to the ring last night when I took it off to go to the lake w/ my friend.

Idk, I just always seem to lose things- and they're usually things that I treasure very greatly. Why must this always happen to me? What do I do wrong? ((sry my story's a bit long))

Rich, I just read where you said a while back about not getting replies to your posts. I know when I'm feeling down you're one of the main people that always tries to help... if there's one thing that you and a few others have taught me is that I always have friends here... we all always have friends here, and please don't forget that. I'm around if you want to PM me, heck, if you want to call me I'll give you my cell number.

You see, these kittens coming into my life has made me realize how I have more love to give than most people can even comprehend and I have no business going on being mopey all the time when I have that special gift. Plus, I'm trying to follow the advice of my dear Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana:
"Life's what you make it, so let's make it rock!!"

Laurena, don't feel silly for getting upset at that. I always get upset with myself when I lose or misplace something important to me... it's natural reaction. But it was an accident, and these things happen sometimes. It isn't your fault.

^Hi Bre, just sent a PM to say hi.
Well, I guess I said it all here and in the "Pissed off" thread. Kinda upset and a couple of my "close friends" here have pretty much ignored me, as in "no comment." Bad comments would have been better than no comment. Being ignored hurts the most. I feel like I should run away and hide right now. I pretty much miscalculated, big time!

Oh you guys... I wish you all understood swedish. If you did I would give you the most uplifting person ever existed and you'd never feel down again. This person has... I think I dare say changed the way I view life itself. I can't really explain it.
He's the singer in a swedish band who's been playing together since they were 14. They've been around for a few years, but recently won this big music contest and now they're everywhere. And just the fact that people voted them as winners is a miracle, because... they are different in many wonderful ways. I guess you could call them a glam-rock band with eccentric outfits etc. Oh well, I won't get into it, but the singer... He is an amazing person with intelligence in his every way of expressing himself. His charisma is almost supernatural. When he walks into a room all eyes imediately turn to him. It's scary, really.
But most of all, he's a true optimist, which is something that shines through in his brilliant songs and lyrics (he composes and writes all of the bands songs himself).
He's the son of a priest and grew up in a tiny village. And I think his religious background (alhough not a practising christian today) has alot to do with his optimistic life philosophy. He's a very special person. With a special physical look and interesting personality.
This is no ordinary, boring pop or rock dude, guys.
I've been listening to and reading interviews for a few weeks now, and, somewhere in me things doesn't feel as heavy anymore.
I'm going through major changes in my life and feared I'd go depressed again, but after hearing how this man talk about life in such a beautiful way, the road through my difficult times seem less bumpy.
So again, that's why it's such a shame that none of you (I assume?) know swedish...

So guys, I'm gonna be dead serious here: If you, you, are feeling down right now, take my advice and send me a pm and I'll give you one (or two... or... three) of their songs if you wan't to enlighten your day, or even your life.
I hope you trust another Gyllenhaalic when she says: This music kick AS*. Period. Think Queen meets David Bowie.
I'm serious, get your as* outa here and send me that pm! lol
I swear on my grandmothers grave that you'll feel better.
Now.... Pm me! You won't regret it.

I'll leave ya with a quote:
"Life doesn't get any better than you make it yourself."
So, starting with a pm to me, you yourself can listen to a song and make yourself feel better! All thanks to yourself! lol...

lol! I just saw your quote, Bre! Almost identical!

Rich, I know what you mean... feeling ignored is the worst. But hey, I know that I for one am here, and I'm better than nothin, eh?

StartledKitten, that music sounds awesome! I don't know Swedish or anything, but I don't mind not understanding the lyrics, plus, there's always online traslaters! Lol. I may take you up on that... David Bowie meets Queen sounds GOOD.

This is a good thread and whoever started it, good for you. It helps to have something like this where you can be annonymous yet share your feelings and hope someone else understands. I hope you all find comfort here.

I don't think depressed is the right word for how I'm feeling. Perhaps, very disturbed by things that are happening in the world, killings, kidnappings, corruption etc., so I try not to watch the news because its too depressing. When I do, it's Paris Hilton as a headline

Anyway, I'm a big wrestling fan and the thing that has really disturbed me this week is the alleged murder-suicide of Chris Benoit, his wife and son.... could it be another one lost to drugs (whether prescribed or not). It makes you wonder what these WWE superstars have to go through to get themselves psyched up to 'perform' these matches. Your work is your work and sometimes you suffer for your art but when it starts to affect your family life/real life is it ever worth it! I feel real sadness for the people who are left behind to pick up the pieces.

Rest in Peace Chris

But oh, Bre! He sing's in english! No need for online translaters It's the interviews that are swedish, the awesome lyrics are sung in good ol' english, hehe.

Ah, I know exactly what band you're talking about! They're really a great band, I'm going to see them at Arvikafestivalen this year.
And it doesn't hurt that the lead singer is absolutely gorgeous.
