I'm bummed out. My good friend and her boyfriend broke up, and I just now checked my email... 10 hours after she wrote to me. I'd have called her immediately, I feel like shite now. And I feel really bad for her. She liked the guy enough to want to marry him and went through a lot with his family too. I've tried to tell her gingerly before, but I didn't think this guy was ready for the things she wanted. He's very young and she's his first girlfriend. Bah. I don't know what to say to her when I call, but I'll do it when the hour's a bit more decent. Sorry for the rant.

Yes, I'd certainly agree with that !!! I just wish I knew how, after all these years, this one young man could have such a powerful effect on me. Having never experienced it before, it sometimes makes me feel so silly.

It's not silly - we're women and he's a charming, handsome young man - it's a natural, but in this case, a powerful thing. Stranger things have happened - maybe one day we will meet him.

I agree, this place definitely feeds the obsession. It depresses me also to wonder how I could be so in love with someone I've never met and never will meet. And it really depresses me to read the posts of the girls who actually have seen/met him. Because I know that will never be me cuz I don't live on a coast where he always is. Therefore I will never be able to express my feelings to HIM which is what we all long to do.

Yup! Trust you Em!!!

Here especially for Dottie and found via Kate on WD&W is a video of someone I've seen before - I'm sure he had Jake in his restaurant before - I think he is one of the waiters - he is completely crazy about Jake and his reaction is the same as mine if I had seen Jake - we're not the only obsessed fans!!

Awwww!!!! I know, I watched that earlier on, he's soooo cute isn't he, and good luck to him, that he got to shake Jakes hand. He had a couple of other vids up quite a while ago, I can't remember where they were though, he's definitely obsessed, just like we all are. Thanks Clain.

Gosh, Em, that really sucks... and although you don't know me I have to tell you, your son is really cute, especially in that pumpkin thing.
I'm feeling a bit depressed as well.
I mean, I so get all the stuff about being depressed caused by my Jake obesession which really got worse over the week with all the vids and stuff... but then again my best friend's mother committed suicide two weeks ago and everything else seems to be so... I dunno out of place to feel bad about Jake and stuff.
I really wanna help my friend and I'm trying my best but I still feel I suck although I spend like most of the last two weeks with her to comfort her... and then there's my own grief which I always try to put aside... I mean, I've known that woman for 12 years adn I just don't get my head around all that stuff that's happening...
Sorry, I just needed to get all this stuff out of my head and somehow this felt like the right place for this as I'm way better in writing about stuff than talking.
Sorry for bothering you.

Hey there Mo!

It is such a hard time for you right now, I can imagine as you know! I'll answer your PM in a couple of days and I'm sorry that I haven't yet but I didn't find the time.

The situation at my new work is sooo bad. I have so much stuff to learn and sometimes don't know where to start first. And then there is this colleague who is such an idiot. She wants to play the boss all day long and isn't doing her own work which she passes on to me then. I really don't want the new week to start.

I'm trying to do okay... so I hope it'll work someday soon
