That is not sad at all, RaHoSa. And guys sending mixed signals is among the worst things in the world (well, maybe not, but it's god damn frustrating lol) Maybe you could look into it, asking your mutual friends or something if something happened? I really understand if you don't feel like confronting him yourself, you don't want to see too pushy. But at the same time you really wanna know... Aaah, the troubles of the teen... I'm nearly 20 and I haven't been in serous love since I was 16, and that guy also wen't around giving mixed signals... he was such an a*shole. Oh well. Since you haven't done anything wrong I shouldn't worry, RaHoSa

Yes, it definitely is very, very frustrating. I thought something could actually happen for the first time in my life. He did sit next to me on a field trip and asked me to sit next to him on the bus, so that seems like point towards him liking me. We're supposed to spend the weekend together.. I guess I'll see how that goes. Me and him and some other guy have a song to learn.

I hope so too.
Today he called me an angel and kissed me on the forehead though.. Haha..
But I can't look too much into that. He's the biggest flirt ever.

^Boys, I wonder why they can't simply say they like you or not. Anyways, I hope you have a fantastic weekend.

I'm sure they say the exact same thing as we do.
Can you imagine what it would be like being a boy? You're expected to be the one who asks the girl out all the time. I'd never have the confidence.
But anyway.. thanks. I'll enjoy mine. And to all who wished me a great weekend (and to those who didn't) I hope you have a great weekend too.. with whatever you may be doing. Haha..

^ You're probably right, and no I can't imagine how it must be like to be a boy. I don't think I could ever go up to a girl and ask her out either. So, I guess if we look at it, both guys and girls have certain situations/things they go through.

Definitely didn't go the way I wanted it to.
We're so different. He's black and I'm white.

He just kept talking about how I'm so different from him and trying to make me do things I can't/don't do. It was so awkward.

Then he was like "yeah.. my mom's going to be back at seven, so you have to be gone"

^I'm sorry to hear it didn't turn out well...

As for me, I'm down about school again. I wish it was over. For good. I just feel like I've been in school my whole life, which I have! I started school when I was 4, and now I'm 19. 15 years and I feel like it'll probably take another 15.

I know how you feel. Our lives consist of nothing but school. There's so much I'd like to do but I can't because of stupid school. It's like a prison even though we did nothing bad to get thrown in. If school was just math and choir I'd be fine with it. haha..

Not sure this is the right thread for this, then again it is a little depressing to me. I've been trying to line up a trip to Florida to visit my father's wife (dad passed away years ago). After a few misses we thought March would be a good time so I have next week off and decided to go and got the tickets BUT today we finally talked (I've been calling) and she said now was a bad time cuz she had a friend come down for the winter (that must be recent) and was going to stay til at least Easter so I should plan another time. I was too surprised to say how unreasonable that plan is cuz I have the tickets and besides we never confirmed dates, only a general March thing. A few weeks ago I mentioned next week as possible dates and there was no mention of other visitors, just it sounded good and call back with the specific dates and flight times (that would be today's call).
Ticket change cost is kinda high and I am off anyway so I thought maybe I would just go and hang out at the beach all week. The problem with that is the trip cost would then be a lot higher than I planned, even if I don't do much. The weather is such crap here and who knows when I can get an OK to visit. Anytime was fine til last year when I was discouraged from coming for one reason or another several times. Perhaps I should just go then forget trying to line up another time this year. Don't know much about ticket changes but I don't have any other dates I can go right now so I don't know what to do. I don't want to lose the tickets cuz I already charged them. I guess I better decide pretty soon.

RaHoSa: I'm sorry your weekend didn't go as you planned. But there will be other weekends and a nice guy. Yes, school does take a lot of time from our life. But right now, I kinda miss it. Weird, huh?

ihjtalk: She could've at least told you that she had other plans already. But don't let that put you down, go enjoy yourself. Since you already bought the tickets, you might as well go and hang out at the beach. The weather is kinda nice here, at least where I live. Well, that is if you like it raining for awhile and then the sun for a bit. Or my favorite, a sun-shower.
