Yeah I know but he's still strange, even off the stage. Case in point by that picture.

But that's how I feel about him. Don't like him.

Thanks for the explanation. Silly me, I should have guessed. Weirdos!!!

Wouldn't it be possible to automatically select the members who didn't post within a year, and then delete them? Maybe this function isn't available at Suddenlaunch, or other web hosts. Where are the programmers......

You could do that but besides spammers there are also just regular lurkers who are either afraid to post or don't feel comfortable or just forget about signing up in the first place.

That's why I said I had to actually search on some of their names to see if they were actually spammers and look at where their email addresses came from.

You wouldn't want to accidently delete an account where the person is actually a fan, but just never posts anything. Not everyone who signs up is a member list spammer you probably shouldn't just delete those who never posted.

Believe me I wish it would be right to only have members who posted. I have about 60 members on my board and only 3 post. It annoys the hell out of me b/c I put so much work into it while there are people who joined to spam my list and others who joined just to see the screencaps and other stuff I posted and never say anything. I tried to cut down my list but sometimes it's hard to tell if someone is there to spam or not.

Sorry for me late reply.

I agree with what you wrote JSrocks... it's not obvious to delete each new member that is suspect of being a spammer. As this is an American website with members from all over the world, there are a lot of people who have difficulty to understand the English language. They must feel insecure to post or reply. The next best thing to do is lurk a little.... or much, certainly when you want to discover everything about Jake Gyllenhaal. So in this case you are right, they are not exactly spammers.

Which kind of forum do you lead btw?

I have a forum much like this one but mine is dedicated to the actor, John Slattery.

http://johnslattery.suddenlaunch3.com/

Sarah (mrs.donniedarko) was kind enough to pop in and post so my friend and I weren't the only ones.

There are only about 3 to 4 regular posters and I've had the board up since last July. So even though there are around 70 members listed, no one else posts except the few of us. A lot of them have been spammers and I've deleted lots of spammer accounts. But I can't tell with the rest of them so I'm not bothering to delete any accounts after that. It happens on every forum, unfortunately.

I just hope more people join and get to know John, the actor.

I have no interest in them what so ever, but I did see pictures of him and that other girl in Hawaii like Stephanie said.

Kissing in the ocean makes it look like they're together.

I really want to see a play for my birthday, but my parents said Broadway is too expensive.
Does anyone know of any good off-Broadway plays or musicals?

No. But speaking of Broadway, I just heard that Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp are reprising their roles in RENT this summer! I wish I could go see them!

I'm going out for lunch in a minute with mrstwist (Maria) We met up a few months back and got on really well, since then I've also been round to her place for a meal, she's great so it'll be lovely to meet up with her again, and have a good ol' chin wag about you know who. That's what's so great about meeting someone on this board, you're never stuck for anything to talk about Not that we would be

Same thoughts about Marylin Manson... i don't like him (i get bad vibes from his music and don't feel comfortable listening to it), but if some of you here do... go for it. Can't stop you, we're all free!

Take me with! I would love to see those guys do the show. I saw a road company in Chicago a few years ago and it was great, Can't imagine how much better with those guys on Broadway.
