Hia guys, I'm back from my holiday in Ireland with Maria, I had a really great time, here are some pics.

The Galtee Mountains, as seen from Maria's garden

A beautiful sunset, again, as seen from the garden

A lovely cosy log fire, which we curled up in front of and chatted until sometimes 3.00a.m

The stunning Cliffs Of Moher on the west coast, looking across the ocean towards America !

Looking across a rainy valley to Auntie Nonie's house from Glengar.

Me and Maria in Auntie Nonie's very pretty garden

Maria with her lovely Auntie Nonie

Coming out of the pub after having an Irish Coffee

A lovely little tea shop right under The Rock Of Cashel, it was raining that day too !

The magnificent Rock Of Chashell, it was a bit of a climb to get up to but once there it was great, we had a tour round it.

I'd like to thank you Maria, for looking after me so well, and giving me such a great holiday, we had such a laugh didn't we, and I'll definitely be coming back next year.

'You got a kid' said Jack, His shaking hand grazed Ennis's hand, electrical current snapped between them. From the
vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Hi Dottie

Gosh, your photos are fab. Wish you were here today, the cows are now in the field directly opposite my front garden, making a hell of a noise, almost as if they are protesting that they have been moved from their other field next door to me.

Oh, and for just a couple of hours, it didn't rain!!!

We sure did have a great time together, sorry I couldn't control the weather. Truely the pits.

It really sounds like you guys had a great time together!! Hopefully one day I'll get to travel more than I do now.

Anway, I just had some very exciting news. I play B flat clarinet (but you guys probably figured that one out for yourselves) and I just had chair placements in band. I GOT FIRST CHAIR AGAIN!! Sorry. Just thought I should share since no one here at school really cares. They all think I'm some prodigy or something. Losers.

Is it bad for a guy to be so so so sentimental?
My boyfriend, anything I do hurts him.
Our choir trip is scheduled for may for five days to NY and I told him about it, and that caused a huge long, depreessing discussion in which he got mad at me because he felt i was choosing the trip over him. That he would be so sad/bothered by me leaving that he probably wouldn't be able to talk to me the day before I left.
I know that it is going to be hard to elave him for five days, I coudlnt' even go for 1 day when the hurricane hit over here, but it's something we're going ot have to do, and he needs to not make it harder than it has to be, and he needs to not get mad at me for it.

He says all this, so i persist and attempt to make things better, but still, it kind of bothers me that he would be bothered by that. should I feel bad that I'm taking advantage of an opportunity to go to new york and sing for a choir over there and I'm leaving him behind for 5 days?

That's a wonderful achievement, Clarinet! You should be very proud of yourself, and don't be ashamed to enjoy your success. I encourage you to keep at your music. The clarinet is a gorgeous instrument.

Ok, I know that this place has a problem with people getting super off topic in threads and basically having side conversations. I'm hoping that this will help stop that problem. I'm proposing that if a thread gets more than a few posts off topic, you have to bring it here. Just quote what you were replying to in the other thread and continue the conversation here. And the rule is that if anyone calls you on it, you HAVE to do this. I don't know if Ally/other mods can physically move replies to a different thread, but that would help as well.

This would also be the place to just spout off random things that don't really deserve their own thread. And it will hopefully help keep this place neater. I hope this catches on and that people really do this.

This is a great idea. I actually wanted to speculate about something that in my mind I related to Jake, but since it would apply more to Reese, I hesitated to put it in any of the Jake threads.

Recently I discovered that a male family member, who has been happily married for 22 years, never had children because his wife, who had been married before and had two children with her first husband, had her tubes tied after the second child. This is a procedure that almost never can be reversed, so my relative never had the children of his own that he wanted. This makes me feel so sad that I am almost crying as I write it. He would have made a wonderful father, and he is a great stepdad to his wife's children, who are now grown up and married too.

Then I began to wonder, might Reese have done such a thing too? So that, if she and Jake married, they couldn't have kids of their own? I realize my imagination is really running wild here, but it just strikes me that you just never know about people, do you? It is so sad to think Jake would never have a natural child with Reese.

Forgive me if I sound kind of silly.
