Hmph, it still won't load all of my posts, that's disappointing..

This is from another thread and it should be here because it's a little bit off-topic...

do you guys think i would have a chance? prolly not.. he's not gay. so wth?

Seriously, I don't think a straight guy has to be gay to go out with another man and problably fall in love (the human being is so complex that anything is possible even if you find it totally weird or can't understand it)... I'm not saying this so that I would a chance with him (not at all)... what if that person who you are meant to be with is not in the gender she or he is suppose to be in?! (That's for another topic but still related to what we're saying!)

The situation you are describing is really difficult and I think I don't know any person being in such a situation. So it's hard for me to understand and if I'm wrong, please correct me. For me it seems like you are of the opinion that there would be the possibility of a straight guy falling in love with a gay man when this gay man actually feels he's a woman in a male body? (Hopefully I didn't confuse you too much now. ) Would that mean that the straight man actually looses his heart to a woman?

^ I think Allennnd was saying (please correct me if im wrong Allennnd) that Love is so complex that nobody knows who they're going to Fall for, and he gave the example of "What if your "soulmate" was a different gender" meaning if you are a straight woman, what if your "soulmate" was another woman. I think thats what he was trying to say.

I disagree with him though. But thats for another thread.

Thanks, Bong.

In my case, this is not only my personal opinion or comment... but I know a lot of straight guys who go out with other men and feel so comfortable about it (Of course, they won't admit it publicaly... the ego and macho thing don't let them!). My best friend is gay and all his dates, relantionships, romances etc... have been with straight men (weird, huh?! but it's true and by the way... these men are not gay, they do love women (sexualy etc). Real complicated to explain and also hard to understand). Even some married men have secret affairs. Me on the other hand I'm so different from my friend (two worlds apart), I'm not interested in straight guys or wanting to have a relantionship with them (in fact, I don't get along with them that much... I'm sorry, but most of them are jerks). But again, you don't chose who you fall in love with and sometimes you can get in some trouble.

Being gay is only your sexual orientation (Has nothing to do with wanting to be a woman or all those stereotypes that so many have in their minds).

I forgot to mention this and it is also very sad, but... my friend's ex-boyfriend wanted to move in with him and live together (even though he was straight and have never experienced a relationship with another guy before... He just fell for my friend. The tragic is that he was killed and he was only 19 (some people have it all and just let it go like my friend did, this guy loved him).

I probably shouldn't butt in on your convo, but I actually agree with you on this one.

Ever since BBM, I've seen love/sexuality as more of a fluid part of who we are. Meaning it doesn't always fall within a certain box or boundaries.

It's okay, feel free to give your opinion and thanks for your comment... I think as I said before that the human being is so complex that anything is possible (of course, there's always the exception but love has no boundaries... sorry I used your words).

One of my best friends is homosexual too, and all her relationships have been with straight women too...in fact the woman who she's been loving for like 2 years was living with a guy, and she does like guys, but she also loved my friend. She even told her parents and boyfriend about my friend. Unfortunately it ended up bad...

So i suppose i agree with Allennnd, sometimes you can't decide who you fall in love with, it just happens...

Oh oh! I know I'm not xbabs, but I'm a big fan of him too, hehe.

Joaquin carried that whole movie, which is one of my favorites of all time. He was, and is, totaly outstanding. Commodus is one of my favoirite characters in movie history as well, very complex and somewhat interesting. I can imagen it must take a natural talent to play a person like that, someone like Joaquin.
When I watch him act I totaly forget that he is infact an actor, he is so talented and convincing that you don't see the private person, you know what I mean? It's kinda the same with Jake.
Anyway, I really admire Joaquin, hehe.
Sorry Ellie! I know you asked xbabs. I'll be quiet now, lol.

I'm nosy so I've been reading your convo. And I think that sexuality isn't black and white and the heart wants what it wants. You never can tell who you'll fall for or become attracted to... just live and allow life to go on.

Oh and now what I came here for... if anyone has a myspace, you'd be doing me a favor to add this:

www.myspace.com/joey_and_caitlin_4ever

I made it the other night and I need more friends. BTW, it's Degrassi characters.

Oh please, don't be sorry! I'm glad someone else likes him too, anyone's welcome to answer!

That's exactly the reason I loved Commodus, too! At first, you see him as a nasty, decieving person, with little or no heart and sets out to have things his own way, regardless of his family. And although he might be those things, he does have a soft side, which I really love. He's afraid of the dark, he wanted his father to love him and live up to him, is afraid of battle... all of these things make up who he is and that's what I love about him.

I know exactly what you mean, he is an incredible actor! For me, it was hard to remember that he is an actor playing a character, he portrayed him so well. I could really believe that he was real and he brought the film to life. I've yet to see him in any other films, but along with Jake movies, that's one of my goals.
