Heya guys!! I'm glad to be back - I missed you all too.

I didn't really do too much, we went shopping and...that's really about it. I didn't buy much, just Bad Santa on dvd for 5 euros. I wanted to buy Lost () but it wasn't there in the complete series boxsets. I got to see my aunt and uncle who live there, so that was really cool. They had two little cats though, and I got really bad allergies, but apart from that it was great! Holland is a really nice place, really relaxing. I'm glad to be home though.

Deb, I got the shadow of the wind delivered yesterday, i read up to chapter 4 so far...it's AMAZING!!! Seriously, so good....by the end of page 2 I was like . I love the way he writes. I can't wait to read it all!

Sorry that you couldn't find Lost...

Aww you like the book?? It's a great story and you don't know what's going to happen til the end, I'm so glad you're enjoying it The author has a great style, very direct (is that the word for this?)
I'm hooked again with it

For those who are intrested there is cool information about an anual meteor shower.

The annual Leonid meteor shower could produce a strong outburst this weekend for residents of eastern North America and Western Europe.

A brief surge of activity is expected begin around 11:45 p.m. ET Saturday, November 18. In Europe, that corresponds to early Sunday morning, November 19 at 4:45 GMT. The outburst could last up to two hours.

At the peak, people in these favorable locations could see up to 150 shooting stars per hour, or more than two per minute.

"We expect an outburst of more than 100 Leonids per hour," said Bill Cooke, the head of NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office. Cooke notes that the shooting stars during this peak period are likely to be faint, however, created by very small meteoroid grains. (I-Report: Send us your Leonid photos)

Elsewhere people will see the typically enjoyable Leonid display of a few meteors each hour, weather permitting and assuming dark skies away from city lights.

Everyones siggys are great! I agree, getting better!
Here's a quick and simple Zodiac blend I did.

Bah, anyway. Guys, can I ask you for a favour? It's been bugging me for MONTHS now, I just can't find the right one... I need a name for a character of mine, a young french male during 1687. Which one sounds best?

Rémy
Gerard
Joél
Hector
Joseph
Sacha
Ludovic

Advice is much appriciated!

Ps, somehow it's always cloudy when those meteor phenomenons occur, typical...

Love the Zodiac blend - can't wait for the movie. It's also good to know Jake is working on another movie now. I don't really care if he ever does a Lance bio pic.

As for French names, I don't know what would be good for that time period but I like your top two choices.

Yea, you and me both Rich

As for French names, I think Gerard sounds about right.

I've just remembered I'm on the off topic thread, so I'm going to have a little rant. My son Simon, (jammy bugger) has just come home for lunch and told me that him and all his mates (about 20 of them) are all going to the US next year for three weeks, to the west coast, taking in The Grand Canyon, Death Valley San Francisco and LA amongst others. I've told him not to come back saying he bumped into Jake, so he promised that if he did he'd get him to phone me on his moblile. (Yea, right!!!!).
He also offered to take me with them. I can see that happening as well, I don't think!!!! Imagine what fun that would be, 20 strapping young guys, and Simons Mum (fun for me maybe, not for them) so I'm afraid I'll have to pass on that one. I'm going to be soooooo jealous though.

'You got a kid' said Jack, His shaking hand grazed Ennis's hand, electrical current snapped between them. From the
vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.
