Oh, you're welcome Claudia unfortunately this beautiful place is not that close to me, from my town it takes 12 hours by ferry boat, well less by plane but it's better having a car on the island to travel there

*hehee* So, i just need the money!

In fact I first wrote only: "Oh well, the first pic really looks like my house... " , then I edited it because it looked true and definitely snob!! And that's not me!

OK, guys, finally I am back. So first pics from where I was.

San Juan, Puerto Rico. Columbus stopped here in 1493, and by 1521 Juan Ponce de Leon had established the city. Sun Juan today is a blend of 16th century buildings, narrow cobblestone streets, gotic cathedrals, modern hotels, casinos, nightcubs.

St.Maarten
The smallest island in the world ever to have been partitioned between two different nations, St. Martin/St. Maarten has been shared by the French and the Dutch. Each side has managed to retain much of the distinctiveness of its own national culture.

St.Thomas

St. Thomas combines the natural beauty of the islands with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Charlotte Amalie, the capital of the U.S. Virgin Islands, is one of the most beautiful harbors in the world and the most
visited port in the Caribbean.

Brooklyn. Part VII.

Midwood.

Midwood gets its name from the Dutch Midwout or "Middle Woods," a still apt name today, as many of Midwood's streets are peaceful and tree-lined. Located in south central Brooklyn, between Prospect Park and Coney Island, Midwood is a mostly Jewish residential neighborhood. Famous past residents have include, Woody Allen, Arthur Miller and director, Darren Aronofsky.

Marine Park

Marine Park is a residential area in southeastern Brooklyn. There is an 800-acre park, the largest in Brooklyn. In the park you'll find Brooklyn's largest golf course. Marine Park is also home to Kings Plaza, Brooklyn's first enclosed shopping mall.

This is the VIII and final part of my pictures from Brooklyn.

Red Hook.

Originally a busy port, Red Hook is now experiencing a revitalization with appealing restaurants and shops. It's difficult to get out there via public transportation, but Red Hook is a treasure in the rough. The neighborhood's restaurants are drawing in foodies from all boroughs. Also, in Red Hook, the new Brooklyn Ferry Terminal is homeport to the world's largest cruise ship, the Queen Mary 2.

Red Hook has several developers salivating as they hope to turn the waterfront into retail space. Many Red Hookers oppose Fairway and Ikea, but some residents of Red Hook houses applaud the developments, since they will supply jobs. It seems certain that "old" Red Hook, with its dusty streets, neighborhood dives, and residential pockets will soon be changing in some way.

Brooklyn Chinatown

This is pretty much it folks. In the end I want to share with you a few of my favorite signs. They always make me smile. I hope you will like it too.
