In no particular order:

1) Brokeback Mountain
2) Schindler's List
3) Black Hawk Down
4) Interview With The Vampire
5) The Pianist
6) Jarhead
7) Moulin Rouge!
8) Assorted Harry Potter
9) Sin City (I don't know if graphic novels count as books, but anyhow)
10) V For Vendetta (see above)
11) Cruel Intentions (not a direct link, but it's Dangerous Liasons turned modern)
12) 10 Things I Hate About You (aka Taming Of The Shrew made modern)
13) The Exorcist
14) Fight Club
15) Running With Scissors (hasn't come out yet, but is due to be released soon)

As you can tell, I'm a bit of a movie wonk

To Kill a Mockingbird
The Green Mile
Shawshank Redemption
Stand By Me(if you can't tell, I'm a huge Stephen King fan!!)
all of the Harry Potter books(so far the fourth is my favorite!)

I haven't read Jarhead or Brokeback Mountain so I can't say yet about them.

There are many more but I just can't think of all of them right now!

Brokeback Mountain
Interview with a Vampire
Lord of the Rings (though I must confess...I haven't finished the books yet. But I do love the movies! )
Harry Potters (But I prefer the books)
I love most of the Shakespeare films especially Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream
Then there's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

And I love Stand by me. Haven't read the book, though.
