^^^^Yes you are right, I watched it again on your link and John WAS talking about appearing again in Dr Who
But also the way he said "tonight is the final episode of THIS series" made me feel that he meant there will be a third, I'm sure there will be as it is so popular, I prefer it to Dr Who myself, and thats because of John

Dr Who was excellent and I really liked Catherine Tate. I thought she would annoy me but she didn't. It was soooo funny when they first met!!

And Rose!!!!

Yes I agree, it was very good and Catherine Tate fitted in very well, I think as time goes by they will be a really good team those two, I loved the bit at the end with her Grandad spotting the Tardis flying overhead.

And that brief appearance by Rose was a great idea

Loved both the Torchwood finale and Doctor Who!

Torchwood was so sad I can't believe Tosh & Owen are gone. The acting between them in their final scenes was amazing though. Aw and I love Captain John! Excited for series 3 already, I am pretty sure there is going to be another. Who do we think are gonna be the new members of the team then?

Loved Doctor Who!! Donna is brilliant!! Loving her to bits already! That miming scene between her and the Doctor through the windows was so funny!!
And OMG Rose!!

Does anyone know what episode Captain Jack appears in? It is the finale?

^^ I am pretty sure it is the finale that Captain Jack appears in. That could mean episode 13, 12 or 11.

I would love Martha to come back as the medic, that would be awesome. I loved Mickey when he was Dr Who and if he comes back from the Tangent universe with Rose he could bring some comedy to the team. So yea, Mickey and Martha. Doubt it would happen though. What about you?? Would you like someone completely new??

I hadn't thought of Martha-- DOH !! She'd be great.
I thought for a while towards the end that John wouldn't leave at the end, but he did so I don't know.

Did you watch the Dr Who confidential afterwards? I loved all the behind the scenes stuff. The read through, hearing
Russel T Davies take on it all --Just brill I love everything Russel has ever written,
Olivia ---I'm sure you know that we have him to thank for QAF. The original uk series which started it all.
I also loved his remake for Casanova, with David T.
i can't recommend it enough to anyone who hasn't seen it. (it was on youTube a while ago) go find it , watch it,you'll love it !!
Russel's sense of humor runs through it like a warm breeze.
Making me smile like an idiot most of the time.

I must admit, I wasn't really looking forward to Catherine Tate being in Dr Who. But it works well. She is very much more his equal. Ready to give him what for,and the aliens too!!!!

^^Yes I certainly do know that Russel T Davies started it all with the UK version of QAF, which as I have said many times before, although very well written and acted was not a patch on the US version, no chemistry between the two lead actors, whereas our gorgeous Gale and Randy had oodles of it....IMO, no contest

I haven't seen the Casanova remake, I will have a look for that

Yeah I have heard rumours that Martha and Mickey are gonna join. hmm i'm not sure about them. I don't think they would ever be as good as Tosh and Owen!

I really hope there is going to be more of Captain John. I <3 him!

So, what did we all think about Pompei ?
I loved the setting and all the little Roman jokes.I'm not sure about the aliens, but overall a great episode.
I thought Donna's struggle to understand why she couldn't save everyone was really well written and acted.
I love how she really stands up to the Dr.

I'm so happy that Dr Who is back
I've missed it so much.

I wasn't that excited with Donna as the new companion

cause I thought she was a little bit annoying
in "the runaway bride" episode

but from what I've seen from the 3 new episodes
I've started to like her.

but for me The Doctor & Rose will always
be the best team and I miss them together

so I litterly screamed of joy when I saw Rose.
