That's different !!! Not sure about that. It was odd in cartoon format .But they'd done a good job with the characters, and dialog. who makes it ?

I think its from totally Doctor Who, the CBBC show.

I can't believe there is only 3 weeks left. Getting quite upset. But at least Jack is back!!!!!!! Looking forward to that. There are some unanswered questions.... lots of them actually.

I NO!!!!!

It was fantastic. I know I say that about most of the episodes but this one was amazing. How much totty can you get in one episode? There was me swooning over David and John and my mum over John Simm.

I decided not to read any press releases about the next few episodes and the surprise was well worth the wait. It was excellent. David was excellent, John was excellent, Freema was excellent and Derek was excellent. I few weeks back when the face of Boe told the Doctor that he was not alone my dad said that the master would make an appearence, and he was right. I love it when they bring back charcters from the classic series. As a recent watcher of them it is fantastic to see the new incarnation of them and their new 'powers.' The master was amazing however, for my brother who knew nothing about him found it a tad confusing and I, with the help of wiki had to explain it all to him. I just hope this gets cleared up in the next few episodes. what did your son think of it??

I loved the humour and the seriousness in the episode. We also learnt more about Jack. I thought that he went straight from the last episode of the first series to torchwood and we learn that this is not the case. We also learn that the doctor left Jack because he goes against the laws of physics. He is not meant to be. Never dying. I also think they can emphaisise with eachother because they are both so alone, even though they have company. This is because they never grow old in sense of looks and can never have what John Smith had. They realise this. It made me laugh when the doctor said 'stop it' whenever Jack was hitting on people, he is attracted to anything that breaths.

I totally agree,
defiantly one of the best.
I loved that whole bloke chat through the door. Very interesting to get all the back story for Jack and probably useful when the next series of Torchwood hits our screens .
I liked the way The Doctor could barely look at him in the beginning of the episode.
To answer your question,.... my son loved it although he needed some background on the Master to.
Although I'm not the best one to ask,
as I never really watched the classic Doctor Who. But I told him... he's a time lord that went bad and a real nasty piece of work.

That's right isn't it ?

I'm really keen to see how they all get out of this, now the TARDIS is gone and the end of the universe is coming, well-- I guess Jack will be ok,
coz he can't die !!!!!!!
but it looks like it'll be one hell of a ride.

BRING IT ON !!!!!

From what I can gether I see the master as the time lord gone wrong. he only wasn't killed because he wasn't human when the daleks killed all the time lords. It makes me think that in the great war the daleks were only after time lords. I have always wondered how the doctor survived. In my doctor who book it says that the master wants to destroy the human race.

I really want to know how the doctor, Jack and Martha get back. I thought it was very sweet that jack only built the torchwood in Cardiff so he could wait for the doctor. Their conversation was electric!!!

Hey Dramatic_Star, I am also upset at the lack of episodes left, this series has gone sooooo quick. Two left now!!

hehe, Bring it on Russell T Davis!!!!!!!!!!!

mmmmm I wonder why he wanted to kill us ??
we're lovely really.

Talking Dr Who I had a strange dream the other day.
I had watched an interview, with John Tennent . Where he was saying how as soon as he got the role of the Dr ,people started asking if he was doing a second series.

So that night I dreamt that he'd said he wanted to do series 3 ,but then Johny Depp showed up and said he wanted to do No.3 so they got in a huge argument.!!!!!

My point is ,a captain Jack-ish style Dr would be V funny

a captain jack style doctor who be excellent.

I loved yesterday episodes. About as good as utopia I think. I thought John Simm out shone everyone. He is an amazing master. I also loved seeing what gallifrey looked like and the back story on the doctor and the master. I was very intrigued to hear that the doctor choose his name and as did the master. Galifrey looked lovely.

Martha looks like she will be rescuing the doctor next week. I cant wait to see how it pans out. And i am not working so I can see first hand!!!!

What did you tihnk of the doctor's makeup at the end??

Yeah it was a great episode .It's all building to be a huge final *sobs* episode. I can't believe it's nearly all over and we don't even know who'll be the Dr next time. I REALLY REALLY hope Tennant stays.

The make up was the same as in the flashbacks of family of blood wasn't it? an amazing job. Your right about Martha saving the day . She and The Dr had a few moments together before she left , I'm sure he'll have given her some instructions or she would never have left !!
I loved Martha and Jacks moment when the Dr was explaining the perception filter and he said
" it's like when you really fancy someone and they don't know you exist"
and Martha said under her breath
"yeah I know what that feels like" glancing at Dr and Jack says
"you too ?" or maybe it was "me too"
They both had really sad looks on their faces
Arrh bless them

David might not be staying?? I have bet with my best friend that there won't be a regeneration at the end of this series, He thinks there will be. I think it would have been out by now if the doctor was leaving... *fingers crossed he doesn't leave* Saying that I don't understand how the Doctor will get out of this one, maybe the TARDIS will have something to do with it. The episode on saturday is also a tad longer at 51 mins (according to DWM) Apparently Russell couldn't bear to cut it down any furthur.

Jack said 'you too?' I thought that was hilarius but also so sweet as well.

I am pretty sure the doctor must have told Martha something. I agree with you on that one. Like the video in family of blood in the tardis. he can't have left it like that, I hope not. he is brilliant, he would have known something else.

DWM is worth getting this month. there are two covers. i got the one with John Simm on the front. There is a good special on the master, old and new. I love the magazine anyway, if a little pricey.

ps. I don't want it to be over

one of the comments on youtube I read said there wouldn't be another series. But I can't believe that. The BBC are enjoying too much success with Dr Who to cut it.

well in last months DW magazine there was a whole page about who will be writing the scripts for the next series, so I am pretty darn sure that there will be another. there was a rumour once that Russell won't be carrying on but just because he has left it doesn't have to finish, there are other creative people on DW.
