I just watched bubble boy for the first time and OMG!!!! it was sooooooooooooooooooooo ADORABLE!!!! it really was. kinda silly, but I love silly movies it was hilarious, I laughed sooooooooo hard throughout the whole thing. and jake was AMAZING!!!!! he really does have talent when it comes to beeing absolitelly, positivelly F U N N Y!!!!!!!!!! and those eyes....those big, blue, sad puppy dog eyes ( referring to the scene in the car with his dad )- OMG, I just wanted to hold him and tell him everything is gonna be alright.

I enjoyed every second of the movie one of the best silly comedies I've ever seen

I LOVE this movie so much, I made all of my friends watch it too (like I do with all my jake films-I like to share the jakey love haha) and I made my teacher watch it in spanish it's so good! I even got all my family to watch it, and they were all saying how sweet Jimmy was!

The only thing I don't like about this film is the dvd cover, it makes it look so rubbish when it's not! It really puts people off watching the movie!

I totally agree with you Koka! I just saw Bubble Boy for the first time this weekend and I thought it was AMAZING! I laughed so much. To be honest, I remembering hearing about it when it was released and thought it was such a stupid idea for a movie, and, if not for Jake, I probably would have never watched it. And if it had been anybody else but Jake, I probably wouldn't have liked it so much, but he is just OUTSTANDING in this movie! It's another example of how incredibly diverse an actor he is. That face of his - always so full of awe and innocence is just precious! I haven't had time to watch it with the commentary yet, but I'm sure it's a riot. That scene in the church when he turns to walk away and has the undies with pictures on them - OMG! Hilarious!

To all new Jake fan's, this is a MUST SEE!

I agree... a sweet, funny, adorable film which I overlooked when it came out. What a shame I missed it when it came out. It wasn't promoted and only lasted a week or two in theatres. Now it seems to be rising to the great cult status that it rightfully deserves. It displays Jake's wonderful comic abilities and his poignancy as always. I think there was a preconception that it made fun of handicaps--wrong!
Make sure you get the DVD with the commentary by Jake and the director because that makes the movie even more enjoyable. Have fun! Heeheeee.
