Agreed, he can do almost any genre.

Getting others to watch Jake in anything he's done and trying to make them see what you see is sometimes near impossible - but sometimes it works.

Joyo, don't worry. You have done a wonderful thing in opening up to us and talking out your feelings. I'll be sending you a PM

**Update on missing BB dvd*****

Don't worry, the children are safe. I found it....

it was......

in the BBM dvd (I hadn't watched BBM in a few months cos it takes me to an unhappy place)

I showed it to a group of students on Tuesday and most of them loved it

I finally watched this movie and i loved it somehow too.
There are so many scenes which are really funny... 500 dollars!
I was glad to have no problems with understanding because theres no german version on DVD... I understood the Englisg (alomost everything) without subtitles.
Cool movie!

I remember when I discovered Bubble Boy. I bought it for my Jake-obsessed friend before I bought it for myself!! Then I borrowed it, haha, and then I had to buy it for myself. It's such a funny movie, and Jake looks adorable in it.

I simply love the movie... My sister bought it for me when I was having a really bad time and now we always have to watch it when one of us feels bad to cheer up again... And most of the time it works... Jake should definitely do some comedy again some time...

I think I had a Bubble Boy moment a few days ago:

I went to the chemists to get a prescription filled - the lady at the counter said it would take about 5 minutes so I had a look around the rest of the shop until then. When I arrived back at the counter I said my name, and the lady pointed at the pharmacist who was busy at the other side of the shop and said she was waiting for her to check the prescription, but she wouldn't be long. So I stood to one side waiting patiently. The lady was partially behind a screen but it was glass so........ she then said 'next' but I turned around and there was no other person in sight and after a few minutes she said the same thing again.

I watched Bubble Boy again a couple of evenings later and realised I'd almost re-enacted the scene at the bus ticket office which made me laugh even more.

I think the lady at the chemists was a little bit eccentric......

ps Strangely today the race horse Bubble Boy was running and it won!

I loooovvvee Bubble Boy. It's sooooo sweet. I just about pissed myself when I saw the scene when he hits himself with the baseball bat. I laugh every time I see that and think "OMG That had to hurt" Then his mom telling him to recite the pledge of allegience (sp?). So funny.

It breaks my heart when he's in the truck with his dad and he has such a sad face on when he thinks he can't have...uh...brain fart...I can't remember her name, anyways he can't have her. I also love the part at the end when he takes off the bubble suit to kiss what's-her-name (lol). That's a beautiful scene.

I could only watch it on YouTube. Alas once again denied a Jake Gyllenhaal movie for myself
