A friend of mine was making fun of me because I bought it, but I don't care and give her my dvd so she can see what she's missing.. and she loved it! But's she's still joking about me because she can't understand that I bought it on ebay and talk to much about Jake

I got the movie, too and love it as much as all of you

One of my favourite scenes is when Mr. Livingston writes the letter (kidnappers) and the bus stop scene.

Borrowed it to a friend of mine who was a bit sceptic about it, but since her brother watched it and gave it very good critics, she wants to watch it as soon as possible

I have seen Bubble Boy this night! It's so cute and funny! There are many good jokes. I was looking this movie with wide smile during all film. Jakey... Oh.. He is so funny and beautiful. And his smile... I'll never forget it. I love Jakey more and more.

Rock On Bubble Boy

I just bought the DVD of Bubble Boy, after renting it several different times. When I first saw the movie on Comedy Central, I thought it was Jake's most embarrassing mistake. Then I saw parts of it again, and it began to grow on me. Finally, I started renting it, and here I am, owning it. Even from watching it originally on TV, I busted a gut laughing at some of the scenes.

As with all of Jake's other films, I now only watch selected parts. I really love the sequence of scenes through which Jimmy and Chloe become friends. The part where they are sunbathing together and his mother is vaccuming all around them is hilarious.

The film is full of great, memorable lines: "I don't know, bitch. I got a lot to do." "I'll be praying for you tongiht, and I'll be praying you get nut cancer." "If there are no more questions, let's go to the buffet." "A girl can't get 5 minutes of quality time with Jesus." "Have you ever been karmically bitch-slapped by a six-armed goddess?" "Can't we atone and drive too?" "500 dollah!" "Come on, girl, easy question." "I'd rather spend one minute holding you than spend the rest of my life knowing I never could."

The commentary with Blair Hayes and Jake is OUTSTANDING!!!

I saw the movie last week and I love it, just watching his face and hair makes me allready laugh. and today ( ) I watch/hear for the first time the commentary track, and it's really great, just what you said
at the end they say they hope everybody leaves with a happy feeling.. and i did but i think its impossible to be sad after seeing ...

Sorry--I hit the post button before finishing my last comments. Let me continue here.

The commentary with Jake and Blair Hayes is so entertaining. I listen to the whole thing over and over. I go CRAZY when Jake sings along. Oh, if we could only hear him sing a whole song. Wouldn't that be fantastic? I also like Jake's reactions to the various women. I once tried to go to Ever Carradine's Web site, but it doesn't exist anymore. She's older than he is by about 6 years. Did they date at one time? "Desperately in love" I realize Jake's being semi-serious, but still..

I have so many favorite scenes that if I listed them all, I'd be listing the whole movie. LOL I do love it when Jake sings the Land of the Lost song, though he isn't doing it in his natural voice. Besides the wedding chapel scene, when Jimmy delivers his famous line to Chloe, the sweetest moment in the whole film--and I absolutely melt here--is the way he smiles when Chloe notices him looking at her from the window. OMG. You are too much for me, Jakey.
