Well I had read somewhere that it was assumed his contract would include two sequels.

There were the original games, and then there was this "new" series that started with the Sand of Time when PoP came to the PS2. This was a trilogy: The Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and The Two Thrones.

Well I'm still excited ... If Orli can do it with PoTC then why not Jakey with PoP

"Ubisoft May Be Planning Video Game Adaptation Of Prince Of Persia Movie

You read that right. According to GameDaily, Ubisoft is planning to release another Prince of Persia game next year, one that's not the cel-shaded "reboot" that has yet to be officially named. The game that's planning to ship alongside the Mike Newell directed, Jerry Bruckheimer produced film adaptation of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is "essentially" a video game adaptation of the film adaptation of the video game of the same name. Careful, your head may twist clean off if you succumb to the spinning.

It doesn't sound like anything is guaranteed at this point on the game that may feature a polygonal Jake Gyllenhaal and a phoned in voice over performance, but if we know Hollywood and games based on movie licenses, regardless of the source material, I think we're in for a fun ride. Not so much a good video game, but a fun ride."

Yes, this movie will be so awesome.

I love finding out who will be in Jake's movies with him. He really gets to work with so many diverse actors.

I'm kind of getting worried wondering about how they are going to work all these new characters in though...

Some more gameplay: (it's primarily a platformer/action/adventure game)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=Fr5_SGVBHKI
http://youtube.com/watch?v=paKdJYv2SwE (random music, lol)

Most of the story line:
Part1: http://youtube.com/watch?v=UcFPk5yPjtY
Part2: http://youtube.com/watch?v=QqiXcVV1vaM
Part3: http://youtube.com/watch?v=6qd6jAsJ9_o
Part4: http://youtube.com/watch?v=SLPygfk3498
Part5: http://youtube.com/watch?v=IBWBqKg67vs

(of course minus a lot of the stuff you get during gameplay)

EDIT: I found an entire video walkthrough if you don't mind sitting through the probably at least 2 hours to watch it. This will be the entire game. This is just the first part, but you should be able to find the rest from there.

^^At least by watching this one you can get a pretty good sense of the Prince's personality..

All I can say right now is that Jake will look AWESOMELY GORGEOUS as the Prince. That sexy goatee, that flowing hair, those white pants! The Prince in the video even sounds like Jake.

I do hope, though, that the film has more to it than sword fighting and walking on walls.

People are saying on IMDb that Jake's in London right now.

Guess he's finished with Nailed.... or it just shut down again. I heard it shut down a 4th time now.

They should just forget about that film and move on, lol.

But anyway, maybe we'll see some photos of Jake in London.

I love Alfred Molina, so after hearing that I was really excited about this project. I had my doubts at first, but now I'm starting to like the idea of POP. Not too sure about the sequels though. It's always fun seeing who Jake will work with next. Oh, totally shallow note, but do you think they'll make him shave his chest? Because that would just be depressing

Marie, I get the feeling the PoP will be hair-free everywhere except on his head, face and private area. The first two we will see, with that sexy long hair and goatee, and the last, well...we just have to use our imaginations. LOL.
