Evie: Yeah, another movie freak here. I am an equal fan of Leo's/Jake's work, but I am obviously way more invested in Jake, than Leo. Leo seems like a sweet guy, and he's really smart, sexy, and talented, but Jake totally has my heart.

I think there are only two or three Leo films I havenít seen yet. Heís super talented, and makes a great leading man. As far as KW goes in RR, I'm mixed. I liked her in the role, because she and Leo are fantastic together. And I thought she did a really good job overall, but some parts did seem...off. I can't really explain it. Toward the end of the film she was fantastic, but other scenes were too, forced, or something. Leo was perfect though. I am glad that Sean Penn won for Milk, but I wished Leo would have been nominated. He and Mickey Rourke are tied for my number two best actor that year. Winslet was great in The Reader as well, but I wished Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married) or Angelina Jolie (Changeling) would have won Best Actress instead. Kate was way overdue for an Oscar though, so it was cool. I loved her speech and obviously love/admiration for Leo.
I also think Leo is great at comedy, and should pursue it more. Both he and Jake tend to do more serious type/themed films, so it'll be interesting to watch them switch it up in the future. And I would die if they were in a film together as well. Too much hotness in one film. I think with the right movie, they'd be great together. Jake and Leo usually always have good chemistry with their co-stars as well. I thought Matt Damon and Heath worked very well together in TBG, and were funny together, but I wasn't too fond over the film itself.

I forgot to mention Ellen Page, she's great too. The reviews, previews, cast, and director are all great, so I am really looking forward to Inception this weekend. And JGL is adorable, isnít he? Especially in 500 Days of Summer. Have you seen it?

Yes, Shutter Island is an amazing film.

Anne Hathaway was fantastic in Rachel Getting Married; didn't see Changeling, though I hope to catch the DVD at some point. Was it 2008 when all those spectacular films and performances were contending with one another? Nearly all the male and female actors were tied in my book--I couldn't even make up my mind who I wanted to win. Sean Penn certainly deserved the Oscar, but so did Mickey Rourke and Frank Langella and Philip Seymour Hoffman. I think we are in a golden age of actors. I have so many favorites. Paul Giamatti is another one I am mad about. It was absolutely criminal that he never got nominated for Sideways. That movie amazed me: it was funny, touching, wise, supremely interesting. I thought Virginia Madden was terrific in it. Now there's an actress who has been undervalued for years.

Yes, Matt and Heath were great together in TBG, playing against type (traditional casting would have had each one playing the other's role), but the film was bizarre. That's Terry Gilliam's stamp, apparently--fantasy carried to extremes, everything including the kitchen sink.

I think you might be talking about 2006 when Heath Jake & BBM were robbed of all the Oscars.

No, I'm thinking of the year when Milk, Frost/Nixon, Doubt, and The Wrestler were all out, and their stars received nominations: Penn, Langella, Hoffman, Rourke. (There was a fifth man, I think it might have been Richard Jenkins for The Visitor, when BTW I never saw.)

INCEPTION!!!

Has anyone else seen this? I haven't digested the experience yet, but it's a wild, wild film. I'm even thinking of seeing it again, just to try to figure out all the things I missed.

I'm little late with movies ... I just don't like going to the movies anymore so I wait till their out other ways

I've just watched Twilight - all three in a row - and I'm surprised as how good they were.
Aww and that Edward is - besided the dead thing - a man I wish to find for myself > gentleman and guardian ...

I watched a lot of movies during my recent vacation. I saw:

The Mist
It's Complicated (again)
The Crazies
Public Enemies
Bounty Hunter
Paranormal Activity
Hot Tub Time Machine

Has anyone seen the movie Hachi with Richard Gere and Joan Allen? OMG it's so sad. My dog couldn't go with me since I flew, but omg I missed her so much after I watched that film. I was so glad to come home to her!

Oh I watched New Moon again. Jacob is adorable.
