10 movies? Oh my it's a difficult question... there are differents movie makers that I love...

1. Stanley Kubrick: I adored any single movie of this absolute genius ("2001" is gorgeous, peter seller is amazing in "Doctor Strangelove" and "Lolita", "Shining" changed my conception of horror movies, "paths of glory" is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful war movie that I've ever seen, "full metal jacket", a "clockwork orange", but also the "old" ones like "the killing" and "killer's kiss"...)

2. Tim Burton: I love his imaginarium, so dreamy and fantastic, scary sometimes but always magical... my favorites: "Ed Wood", "Edward scissor hand", "big fish" (I cried so much...), Sweeney Todd (I can't wait to see Alice in wonderland)

3. Jim Jarmush: he is not very famous (he is very far from hollywood mainstream) but he stands, imo, as one of the finest director. "Down by law" (with a great Tom Waits and a funny Benigni), "Ghost dog", "Night on earth", "Dead man" (Johnny Depp is so talented)

4. Federico Fellini: I'm italian so how could I forget him? "La dolce vita", "i vitelloni", "8 e 1/2", "la strada".

5. Akira Kurosawa: when i saw "rashomon" and "the seven samurai", I fell in love with japanese culture

6. Clint Eastwood: since "the untouchable", then "mistic river", "million dollar baby", "gran Torino"

7. Emir Kusturica (and the incredible soundtrack of Goran Bregovic): Underground, black cat white cat, Arizona dream, Time of the gypsies

7. Hitchcock: Vertigo, Psyco, North by northwest
and then, a lot of other movies:

- Requiem for a dream
- Donnie Darko
- Brokeback mountain
- couching tiger hidden dragon
- The big lebowsky
- The dark night
- Fear and loathing in Las Vegas
- the dark knight
- casino
- the usual suspects

and a lot of others... but I think the're much more than 10!!! ^^
